OJSC “State Leasing Company” and OJSC “Green Finance Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic” Sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation
OJSC “State Leasing Company” and OJSC “Green Finance Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic” have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.
The Memorandum establishes a foundation for long-term partnership in the field of green finance and the implementation of projects aimed at the sustainable economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
One of the key areas of cooperation will be the development of green leasing mechanisms, enabling enterprises, state and municipal organizations to acquire modern energy-efficient machinery, environmentally friendly transport, and equipment under affordable financing conditions.
The parties also intend to jointly develop financial products and implement projects in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency improvement, and green infrastructure development.
Particular attention will be given to attracting resources from international financial institutions, climate funds, development institutions, and foreign partners to finance environmentally significant projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The cooperation framework also includes the joint preparation and support of investment projects, exchange of experience and best practices, organization of advisory, educational, and informational activities, as well as the development of proposals to improve sustainable financing mechanisms.
The signing of the Memorandum creates an institutional framework for combining the capacities of both organizations and expands access for domestic enterprises and organizations to modern financial instruments.
The joint efforts of the parties will contribute to attracting investment, introducing environmentally friendly technologies, improving energy efficiency, and advancing the practical implementation of green economy principles in the Kyrgyz Republic.
