Strengthening the Material and Technical Base of Ayil Okmotu
As part of the state program to strengthen the material and technical base of local self-government bodies, a large-scale project has been implemented to provide ayil okmotu with modern vehicles.
Project Outcomes
- 178 vehicles were leased, including:
- 154 units of Chevrolet Tracker
- 24 units of Lada Niva Legend
- The total financing exceeded 229 million KGS.
- The state provided support in the form of:
- 20% of the initial down payment,
- coverage of insurance and registration costs.
- Vehicles were distributed among ayil okmotu throughout the country, including subsidized regions.
Coordination and Oversight
The project was coordinated and supervised by:
- The Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic,
- The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic,
- The State Leasing Company.
Significance of the Project
The transfer of vehicles under leasing enabled rural self-government bodies to receive modern and reliable means of transport for their day-to-day functions. The renewed vehicle fleet contributes to:
- improving the mobility of ayil okmotu staff,
- responding promptly to citizens’ requests,
- effectively implementing state and municipal tasks,
- providing higher-quality public services.
Results
The project was implemented on schedule, covering all regions of Kyrgyzstan, and became an important step in strengthening the potential of local self-government bodies. The new fleet has enhanced the material and technical capacity of ayil okmotu, equipping them with modern resources for sustainable and efficient development.
