The project is aimed at strengthening the engineering and technical equipment of the State Border Service and enhancing the capabilities of units in fulfilling tasks in remote and high-mountainous regions of the country.
Project Results
- Transferred via leasing: 10 units of modern machinery and specialized trailers.
-
Sector of application: engineering, transport, and border infrastructure.
The delivery included truck tractors, specialized semi-trailers, dump trucks, a concrete mixer, a crane manipulator, and water tankers.
Project Objectives
- Strengthening the material and technical base of the Border Service;
- Increasing the mobility of engineering units;
- Ensuring the construction and maintenance of border infrastructure;
- Improving the logistical support of remote units;
- Enhancing autonomy when performing engineering and economic tasks.
Significance of the Project
Border units perform tasks in complex climatic and geographical conditions; therefore, having their own modern transport and engineering complex is of particular importance. The new machinery expands capabilities for constructing, reconstructing, and maintaining outposts, border posts, and associated infrastructure.
Having its own fleet also makes it possible to transport construction materials, equipment, and necessary resources to remote facilities more promptly. Water tankers additionally ensure the delivery of drinking and technical water to facilities lacking centralized water supply.
Contribution of the State Leasing Company
Within the framework of the project, the State Leasing Company (SLC) ensured the acquisition of specialized machinery taking into account the specifics of the border units’ work in remote and high-mountainous areas of the country.
The delivered machinery complex simultaneously addresses several practical tasks: transporting cargo and equipment, carrying out construction and engineering works, delivering water, and servicing remote facilities. The leasing mechanism has strengthened the technical capabilities of the Border Service directly on the ground and created an additional base for maintaining border infrastructure using its own resources.
