The project is aimed at the large-scale technical modernization of the enterprise to support the implementation of strategic hydropower and infrastructure projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Project Results
- 49 units of specialized machinery and equipment were provided under leasing arrangements.
- Area of application — hydropower and infrastructure construction.
The equipment package includes machinery for concrete works, crushing and screening, underground construction, drilling, earthmoving, lifting operations, road construction, and transportation.
Project Objectives
- to provide technical equipment for strategic hydropower construction projects;
- to increase the productivity of construction works;
- to establish an in-house fleet of specialized machinery;
- to reduce dependence on third-party contractors and equipment suppliers;
- to improve the efficiency of major infrastructure project implementation.
Significance for the Energy Sector
The development of hydropower is one of the key areas for strengthening the country’s energy potential. The implementation of major hydraulic engineering projects requires modern heavy-duty and highly specialized machinery for earthmoving, underground, concrete, drilling, and lifting operations.
The establishment of an in-house technical fleet enhances the enterprise’s operational independence and enables more efficient organization of work at strategic facilities. The modernization contributes to accelerating construction processes and strengthening the technical capacity required for the further development of the hydropower infrastructure of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Contribution of the State Leasing Company
Within this project, the State Leasing Company focused on providing the enterprise with the machinery required to perform a full range of works at major hydropower and infrastructure facilities.
A total of 49 units of specialized machinery and equipment were provided under leasing arrangements, covering key production processes ranging from earthmoving, drilling, and concrete works to underground construction, transportation, and lifting operations. As a result, the enterprise was able to establish its own technical base for implementing large-scale construction projects and reduce its reliance on externally sourced machinery.
